Idyllwild Arts – January
Happy New Year! As the calendar flips to 2016, we eagerly look forward to celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Idyllwild Arts. Whether our first Idyllwild experience was with ISOMATA, the Summer Program, or the Arts Academy, the mountain air, the deep relationships, and the exploration of creativity, music, and art remain at the core of who we are.
In many ways, the world still needs the Idyllwild that Max and Bee Krone envisioned. Today, people are challenged even more to interact physically with peers, locally and globally. Thanks to the Krones and the many other pioneers who put us on the map, Idyllwild Arts has always been at the forefront of arts, education, and global citizenship. As we embark on a vision for our future that will take the institution through the first quarter of the century, we do so still with an eye toward preparing students to make a difference in the world.
This year we celebrate our 70th Anniversary in Los Angeles in just three months! There are many exciting and meaningful ways for you to participate in and support this event.
This year is different: instead of purchasing a table or individual tickets for you and your guests to attend an Idyllwild Arts event, your support of the 70th Anniversary Celebration will enable the Arts Academy to transport all three hundred of its students to Club Nokia and allow our young artists to perform on a world-class stage. Your support will also enable us to raise the visibility of the school significantly and to open this performance, free of charge, to arts leaders and LA youth who are passionate about the arts.
Please consider supporting the event at a sponsorship level, purchasing a congratulatory ad in the program, purchasing raffle tickets, or providing wine for the raffle.
And most importantly, we hope you will be in the audience to see our students perform under the lights at Club Nokia and to celebrate this incredible milestone in our history.
